COLOURPOP LIPPIE STIX review

A girl can never have too many lipsticks.

I know, I’ve written that line over and over again but AGAIN, it’s because I know I CAN CERTAINLY NOT let go of my obsession about lipsticks. :p

OK this time review is about what-so-called “lippie stix” by Colourpop.

COLOURPOP is an American product and it comes with this price tag: USD $ 5.

Phe-leeease. Really?

What makes it pricier when it arrives at Indonesia is off course, the tax and of course, the resellers want to make some revenue themselves, right?

The price for one Lippie Stix if you buy it online is normally around Rp 110,000 – Rp 115,000. Some shops may sell Rp 130,000 up.

So if you want to shop online, it’s better to have a look and compare some online shops to get yourself the best price. Since I do think about the shipping cost when online-shopping (don’t we all?) If you shop collectively with your friends, well it’s a jackpot!

You won’t even think about the shipping cost! *evil grin*

So, Lippie Stix.

It’s been reviewed so many many times by pretty beauty-bloggers from (I think) every part of the world so it might worth the try. I couldn’t decide which color to buy so I decided to buy these shades:

LUMIERE

BRINK

I HEART THIS

To my surprise, Lippie Stix is really small and slim, it looks like a pen, even shorter! LoL

But the nice thing about this product is the staying power. 

It doesn’t stay all-day like, say, Rimmel Provocalips, but it’s not bad. 

The smell is really pleasant as well! Like a freshly-baked vanilla butter-cookies. 

It’s non-drying and pigmented. You only need to swipe the product lightly, once. That’s all!

Here’s the sneak-peek of the colors. 

COLOR: LUMIERE. 

It's a kind of shade every girl would love to wear everywhere now. 

Especially after Kylie Jenner and her pout we all envy to have. 

COLOR: I HEART THIS.

Can I say it's actually a pink, but darker? 

COLOR: BRINK.

This is my favourite, especially for daytime wear. This and LUMIERE is actually my kind of colors. 

If one day I decide to repurchase (if I'm not tempted to try some other brands, lol) I'll have BRINK and LUMIERE again. :)
