I have done countless trial and error when it comes to skin care. 

Aku mungkin bukan tipe perempuan yang “ketergantungan” sama suatu jenis perawatan atau harus pakai produk dokter / klinik tertentu. I do have one trusted skin clinic and as time goes by, on daily basis I practically become a “doctor” for my own self. It’s not that I don’t trust doctors or whatsoever, aku cuma ngga mau ribet atau ketergantungan sama krim-krim klinik (walaupun produk dari klinik-klinik tertentu juga bagus-bagus and off course mahal mahal chuyyy… emang gue Dian Sastro atau Nia Ramadhani? I am nobody and I can’t afford perawatan seperti orang lain) dan ngga mau ribet kalau suatu saat kehabisan produk sementara klinik-nya tutup atau tiba-tiba kita pindah tinggal ke suatu tempat yang ngga ada klinik itu di kota tersebut (yeah call me overthinker, but there’s always possibilities, right?) atau semua keribetan lain deh.

I like to keep everything simple for almost everything in my life. Misal kita lagi mau ngomong soal Kieh’s ya. Kalau sudah memilih sesuatu ya sudah, aku kejar sampai dapet. Mau harus keliling tiga mall hanya untuk mendapatkan suatu produk berisi 50ml ngga masalah, karena apa? Karena aku tahu kualitasnya bagus.

Ya boleh lah coba-coba yang lain (because I have this BIG curiosity about almost everything, tapi aku bukan suka kepo-in orang ya) namanya juga sudah telanjur jadi “beauty junkie” jadi setiap ada produk baru launching dan kita tertarik gitu pasti aku penasaran banget dan satu-satunya cara untuk memuaskan rasa penasaran itu hanyalah dengan MEMILIKINYA, bukan? 

Hehehe… sounds creepy, I know.

Kadang setelah kita coba gitu kan akhirnya kita tahu, apakah produk tersebut worth the money atau tidak. Tapi selama kita punya satu brand favorit which will keep us coming back every time, hidup bakal lebih tenang. Ternyata ngga ada yang lebih baik daripada merek favorit kita itu. Memang akan selalu ada yang lebih menarik, lebih baru, LEBIH MURAH dan sebagainya, tapi memang perlu diingat bahwa ada harga ada kualitas. Ini sebabnya kenapa aku tulis quote dari lagu Katy Perry di atas. J

Aku ngga munafik bahwa kalau ngelihat yang namanya SALE ya pasti ngeborong juga karena bisa dapat banyak produk (namanya juga perempuan hehehe!) dengan harga yang lebih miring banget. Aku juga ngga bermaksud bilang bahwa produk dengan harga murah berarti ngga ada kualitas. Semua tergantung sama pilihan produk kita, tergantung produsennya dan tergantung sama kecocokan kita dengan produk atau merek-merek tertentu.

Ya kan? Karena setiap orang preferensinya berbeda-beda, jenis kulit (dan keuangan) juga bervariasi. Aku ngga mampu beli produk sekelas SK II, Sulwhasoo, EMK Beverly Hills, Albion dan produk-produk premium lain  karena ya mungkin aku tidak (atau belum, amiiin!) berada di level kestabilan finansial sekelas itu.

Prolog-nya panjang sekali ya, padahal content-nya sih aku hanya mau bahas beberapa produk aja dari Kiehl’s yang ada di foto aku ini yaitu:

Aku yakin kalau aku bahas satu-satu blog ini yang baca langsung ilfeel hehehe karena bakal panjang banget. Aku juga ngga akan panjang x lebar membicarakan soal ingredients setiap produk karena I’m not a scientist and to be honest not a single ingredient yang aku tau fungsinya untuk apa. Nama-nama ilmiah di label ingredient cuma bikin aku pusing bacanya (ngga pernah kubaca karena ngga paham) tapi seperti biasa, sebelum beli pastinya I have done some research yang intinya untuk mengetahui:

Produk ini fungsinya untuk apa?

Cocok ngga sama jenis kulit aku?

Cara makenya gimana?

Efeknya akan terlihat setelah berapa lama?

Efek sampingnya apa?

Harganya berapa?

SALVATION FOR MY DRY HAIR

Ini beberapa produk yang aku pakai dalam rangka menyelamatkan rambutku yang waktu itu terlanjur mengalami kekeringan yang hakiki. Waktu datang ke Kiehl’s store aku bingung antara mau pake yang mengandung Argan (Argan oil is known as a good heal for dry skin and hair) atau Olive Fruit Oil seperti yang aku punya ini.

Akhirnya aku memilih Olive Fruit Oil. Saking keringnya rambutku, aku merasa “ngga guna” kalau memakai conditioner karena kurang berkhasiat alias ngga terasa apa-apa. Maka itu aku memutuskan beli hairpak (hair mask) nya aja sekalian biar lebih deeply nourishing. Kenapa ngga pakai shampoo – conditioner – hair mask?

The problem with me is that I have dry hair, split ends but also quite oily scalp. Kalau aku terlalu banyak “menutrisi” rambut, takutnya berat dan rambut cepat lepek L

Semalam sebelum aku cuci rambut (I always wash my hair in the morning, kecuali kalau di luar kebiasaan) I apply a few drops of this Superbly Restorative Argan Dry Oil to my hair ends. Ngga pakai di kulit kepala ya. Cukup di batang sampai ujung rambut aja karena aku pernah baca bahwa: kulit kepala sudah memproduksi minyaknya sendiri dan minyak itu akan tersebar dengan sendirinya ke setiap helai rambut yang terdekat dengan lubang folikel rambut. Jadi ngga perlu diberi “pelembab” lagi karena bakal lepek. Biarkan semalam. Kalau aku sih semalam. Bisa juga dipakai beberapa jam sebelum keramas atau kalau lagi ngga ada banyak waktu, sejam sebelum keramas juga sudah cukup menutrisi (apalagi kalau rambutnya normal). Berhubung rambut aku super kering waktu itu, jadi aku pakai semalam biar benar-benar meresap.

SUPERBLY RESTORATIVE ARGAN DRY OIL

OK jadi setelah cuci rambut and towel-dry and comb (yes, kita harus selalu menyisir rambut setelah selesai keramas dengan sisir bergigi jarang biar kusut-nya ngga kebawa sampai kering which will make you like a lioness who just wake up) my hair, I apply the Silk Groom Serum about 3 pumps, karena rambutku ngga panjang-panjang amat juga. Tipis lagi L Apply hair serum harus selalu HANYA dari bagian tengah ke ujung rambut aja ya, sudah tau kan alasannya? J

Serum ini, seperti serum rambut pada umumnya, promotes healthy glow on my hair. Ya memang sih rambut aku ngga se-glossy yang dibayangkan hahaha tapi untuk ukuran rambut rusak, it does pretty good job to nourish my hair. It also has this straightening effect jadi tiap kali aku pakai serum ini, rambutku jatuhnya selalu lebih lurus (walau bukan lurus iklan shampoo, I still need my heat protector and curling iron to achieve that look!) dibanding aku pake serum lain. Bagus buat yang punya rambut asli lurus nih, bakal kelihatan super sleek! J

HOW IT FEELS LIKE AFTER USING THIS AFTER A WHILE:

Menurut aku ya, karena aku pakai merek ini maka kalau dipakai satu seri insha Allah hasilnya akan bagus. Merek lain pun aku rasa akan begitu juga. Karena ingredients nya kan sama jadi kerja dan penyerapan produk-produknya jadi lebih maksimal. Memang Superbly Argan Dry Oil itu  bukan masuk serinya Olive Fruit karena Argan ada sendiri. Argan Dry Oil ini juga ngga cuma bisa dipakai untuk rambut loh, itu juga bisa buat bagian-bagian tubuh lain yang kering karena fungsinya memang melembabkan. Bisa buat siku, tumit, lutut, wajah (beberapa tetes aja, gosok-gosokkan ke telapak tangan sampai hangat, lalu tekan-tekan ke wajah). Jadi aku bilang produk Argan Dry Oil ini semacam all-in-one oil, sejenis beautifying oil-nya The Body Shop gitu deh.

HOW THEY SMELL LIKE:

Shampoo & Hairpak Olive Fruit Oil ini wanginya ngga seperti shampoo-shampoo pada umumnya yang wangi parfum ya. Ini baunya soft kayak krim, kayak ada bau lemon-nya gitu. Itu karena dia bebas pewangi dan pewarna. Kalau Argan Dry Oil aku bilang baunya agak-agak woody dan rempah, sementara kalau Silk Groom Serum aku rasa wanginya mirip-mirip juga sama Argan. Ada sedikit hint of lemon-y scent. Fresh banget!

Memang rata-rata produk Kiehl’s ngga ada yang wangi, kecuali memang yang seri body care seperti body wash, lotion and perfume.

Middle:

Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate (vit. C serum aja ya nyebutnya biar ngga kepanjangan *sigh) & Midnight Recovery Concentrate ini adalah salah dua dari beberapa produk andalan (dan juga favorit) dari Kiehl’s. Ditilik dari judulnya memang “mengerikan” karena terkesan kita ini sudah keriputan atau gimanaaa gitu.

MIDNIGHT RECOVERY CONCENTRATE

POWERFUL STRENGTH LINE REDUCING CONCENTRATE

Bukan. Ini adalah vitamin C serum. Fungsinya untuk kekenyalan wajah dan radiance. Mungkin ini sebenarnya menarget customer berusia 40-an keatas tapi bukan berarti yang seumuran kita ngga boleh pakai. Aku pakai serum ini ngga setiap hari juga, dua atau tiga hari sekali saja. Aku pakainya gantian dengan Midnight Recovery (MR) Concentrate. Kalau MR aku pakai juga ngga setiap hari. Kalau aku sudah pakai pelembab, aku pakai MR. Kalau aku skip pelembab, aku pakai serum vit. C dan ngga pakai MR sesudahnya. Aku punya kulit sudah kombinasi it means my face produces more sebum compared to you who have normal skin, right? Jadi aku ngga mau over-nourishing. Takut jadi ada breakouts (beruntusan) atau jerawat karena “terlalu lembab” hehehe.

HOW IT FEELS LIKE AFTER USING THIS AFTER A WHILE:

Mungkin karena aku belum punya kerutan yang nyata like I’m above 45 year-old, efek “line reducing” nya memang ngga ada di kulitku. Tapi efek yang aku rasakan adalah kalau pakai dua produk ini di malam hari, besok paginya kulit rasanya kenyal banget. Over time, kulit juga sebenernya bisa jadi lebih cerah. Kenapa ada kata “sebenernya”? Karena kan aku kerja di pelabuhan, lingkungan di sini ekstrim dengan sun exposure, sea wind dan dirt. Memang ngga setiap hari aku terpapar sinar matahari dalam waktu lama, tapi lokasi kantornya aja sudah “di tengah laut” jadi bisa dibayangkan panasnya gimana hehehe dan itu sebabnya aku pakai dua produk ini. I want to preserve my skin from further damage. Mungkin efek-nya ngga terlalu visible saat ini tapi so far aku ngga ada keluhan. Biasanya kalau aku ngga cocok terhadap suatu produk, begitu di apply ke wajah, wajahku langsung berkeringat. Lalu besoknya dan besoknya lagi mulai lah beruntusan di dahi. Bahkan leher. L

Result dari dua produk ini mungkin untuk investasi jangka panjang, lebih ke prevention daripada healing ya. Will I buy this products again? Sebotol aja belum habis sudah hampir setahun hehehe, masih ada setengah. Pakainya hanya beberapa tetes (Midnight Recovery) dan caranya sama dengan cara pakai Argan Dry Oil di atas ya. Kalau untuk yang vit. C serum nya, satu pump bisa untuk satu wajah. Ada efek hangat-hangatnya gitu begitu diaplikasikan dan it’s written on the label, jadi jangan kaget apalagi khawatir. Memang begitu rasanya. Cobain deh, rasanya kenyel-kenyel gitu besok paginya kulit kamuuuh! :D

HOW THEY SMELL LIKE:

Yang vit. C baunya seperti jeruk sedikit sementara Midnight Recovery Concentrate itu mengandung aromatherapy. Makanya dinamakan “midnight recovery” karena ada efek menenangkan dalam aromanya. Jadi setelah diteteskan di telapak tangan, di usap2 sebentar lalu press your palms onto your face. Dari pipi, dahi, dagu, tahan beberapa detik waktu menekan di titik-titik tersebut, lalu hidup dalam-dalam aromanya. Kedengarannya agak-agak seperti ritual apa gitu ya, hehehe… tapi efeknya cukup calming kok. It smells like ada sedikit hint of lavender-y scent yang aromatik banget… bikin tenang dan cepat tidur. Tapi ya tergantung keadaan hati juga ya, kalau lagi belum ngantuk-ngantuk banget atau lagi bete berat aku rasa mempengaruhi sugesti “ritual” ini :D

OTHER STUFF FROM KIEHL’S I RECENTLY AM OBSESSED ABOUT:

IRIS ACTIVATING TREATMENT ESSENCE (Pic by me)

Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence. I know it’s a mouthful! Judul produk di Kiehl’s termasuk yang panjang-panjang sampai lupa namanya apa. *sigh So basically this product is… apa ya, booster? Essence? Pre serum? Or even masih masuk sejenis toner? Teksturnya watery cuma sedikit saja lebih kental dan lebih keruh daripada air murni. Cara pakainya juga termasuk irit (satu botol segede gaban ini mungkin bisa buat 6-7 bulan bahkan lebih, secara sekali pakai hanya butuh 4 tetes saja. Cara pakainya sama seperti Midnight Recovery (atau mungkin sekarang memang jamannya pakai toner / essence dengan cara begitu) tapi kalo essence Iris ini makenya diusapkan ke wajah sambil diberi pressure ringan. Ngga sticky sama sekali, ngga bikin aku bruntusan, oil free (INI NIH yang paling penting buatku dalam memilih skincare, bebas minyak) dan I apply this twice daily. Setelah toner, sebelum pelembab.

HOW IT FEELS LIKE AFTER USING THIS AFTER A WHILE:

I like this essence, menambahkan produk ini kedalam rutinitas skin care sehari-hari ternyata jadi hal yang menyenangkan! Irit, cepat diserap, botolnya gede (hehehe) dan yang paling aku senang adalah efek “soft focus” di wajah yang dihasilkan beberapa menit setelah kita pakai essence ini. Kurasa fungsinya adalah memang untuk “activating” kulit kita untuk menerima step selanjutnya seperti serum atau pelembab. I think I’m gonna be using this product for as long as it is produced, I am just IN LOVE with this essence!

HOW IT SMELLS LIKE:

Rasanya baru ini produk Kiehl’s yang wanginya “menyenangkan”. Kurasa kita kalau pakai produk (apalagi cewek) pasti suka deh kalau produknya wangi apalagi kalau wanginya pas sama selera kita. Iris Florentina Essence ini wanginya soft banget, feminin, pokoknya bikin tenang deh. Aku lama-lama “curiga” sama Kiehl’s ya, apa memang mereka men-design beberapa produk essence atau concentrate dengan aroma tertentu biar bikin yang pakai jadi relax… selow… tenang… dan merasa cantik (uhuk uhuk…!!! LOL).

So, I guess postingan kali ini kurasa sudah terlalu panjang jadi I better end this. Sekali lagi, soal merk kembali ke preferensi ya. Aku ngga bilang Kiehl's paling bagus karena pasti yang temen-temen pakai juga bagus dan yang penting COCOK. J

Review: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (NYX SMLC) ; Too Faced Melted and Rimmel London PROVOCALIPS

Hello, it's me (again)!

It was just yesterday I wrote a review about liquid lipsticks I just purchased and today I'm gonna be reviewing about another matte liquid lipstick which is NYX SMLC. 

It's not really "liquid", in fact it has this CREAMY texture, velvety and it smells pretty nice (ngga bau bahan kimia yang bikin eneg)!

First time I tried this NYX SMLC was several years ago, when it was "just" creamy lipstick, not as hip as it is nowadays. Me myself was also not as beauty junkie as I am now, hahaha. 
I thought, "hey... this lipstick is pretty good! It's cheap but the color and quality is boleh juga!" then I, ever since, become a loyal fan of this NYX SMLC :)

Today I'm gonna review some of them and try to compare them with some other lipstick brands, to let you know that some lipsticks DO have DUPES!

They do have almost identical pale pink shade, the diffs. are NYX is matte and Melted is a bit GLOSSY. 

Melted is more moisturising and more pigmented. 

With this NYX, I think I'm applying two layers to get the intense color but it don't matter, it still looks good anyway!

...anyway, both are light pink but Melted appears to be lighter, ya? 

Enakan mana dipakainya? 

Sekali lagi tergantung selera. 

Suka matte? NYX. Tapi rada kering. Wajar, namanya juga matte. 

Suka glossy? Atau suka yang mana aja? Melted boleh dicoba. 

Jelas "beda" nya ya antara NYX ama Too Faced (if you know what I mean) :) 

RIMMEL LONDON PROVOCALIPS IN "KISS FATAL"

Shade ini tergolong dark and a little goes along the way. It might get a bit sticky (yes, STICKY) on your lips if you don't coat it with the "Lock & Shine" liquid. Yes, this is a two-phase lipstick. 

So first you apply the Step 1 which is the lipstick. 

You wait around 30 secs (I need more) before you coat it with the Step 2. This step seals the color and make it last all day (yes, and without make up remover, you'll find difficulties erasing this, trust me) because it's supposed to stay up to 16 hours of waterproof, smudge proof  heatproof and KISSPROOF. Yumm, hehehe.

NYX MATTE LIPSTICK IN "MERLOT" VS.

Somehow, I ended up buying two almost identical shades (again?!) from the SAME brand. Ya kalau ngga Meiza ngga begini mungkin. Anyway, both of them are matte they're just diff. in shape. 

Which one's better? Because they're almost in the same shade so I can't tell but this NYX matte lipstick is not a bad choice. The opacity is brilliant and it's (surprisingly) not-that-drying.

Both are pale color and both are lip creams. The only diffs. is that the Xtreme Lip Cream is the glossy version of SMLC "London". 

Trust me, they're identical, only one is matte and the other one's glossy.

For this one I've gotta agree that the glossy one looks nicer ya compared to the matte one, because the color is really warna bibir and if it's matte it seems like you're wearing no lipstick at all, even worse, you'll look TOO PALE, people may think you're sick or something. 


NYX SMLC 01 "AMSTERDAM" VS. 
MAC RETRO MATTE IN RUBY WOO
I could be so wrong, comparing these two lipsticks apple-to-apple because Ruby Woo has reached it's particular level where some people may say it's the holy grail product for red lipstick. No wonder why Gwen Stefani loves this lipstick so much. 

But anyway, MAC is just a brand and NYX is also a brand. Why not comparing them? They're both made by HUMAN, right? 

Talking about red lipsticks could be tricky because "red" itself has a lot of shades, from blue; black; purple even black undertone. Talking about quality and opacity, no wonder MAC is the winner almost in every way but talking about price? Off course NYX is more affordable. Even it's much cheaper but it doesn't make this SMLC "Amsterdam" a second choice, loh. It's pretty good!!

Both are red-red kind of shade or I like to say mere Ferrari. 

For party or kondangan or special events off course Ruby Woo is our first choice but talking about everyday red? 

Off course Amsterdam is much better (lagian kalau cepat habis kan ngga gitu nyesek untuk beli lagi, LoL)

P.S.

Answering my friend's question about NYX SMLC compared to Sleek Matte Me, to be honest Sleek is more drying. But what can I say (and I've said this a thousand times) I'm in love with matte lipsticks regardless the drying effects. Review: COLOURPOP ULTRA MATTE LIP, CAILYN PURE LUST EXTREME MATTE TINT & GIRLACTIK BEAUTY MATTE LIP PAINT

Hello, it’s me (again)!

Today I, as promised yesterday, will be reviewing 4 of my newest liquid lipsticks.

Yes, lipsticks again and again and again.

Liquid lipstick from this brand and that brand and those other brands, you name it. I know, I will stop talking about lipstick when… I don’t know when.

Tapi yang jelas selama masih ada jenis dan tipe baru atau brand yang belum aku coba (sejauh yang aku bisa afford, tentu saja) pasti sih aku akan terus nulis beginian, so be patient.

OK, here  are the babies I’m going to talk about:

So the thing is, before I decided to purchase lipsticks online (and from TRUSTED SELLERS, off course) I google as many reviews as I can and the most important thing is to make sure that you get a CLEAR idea about the shade you’re about to choose.

You’re gonna need more than ONE picture from the internet and make sure to observe the color from people’s lips, not on what it’s described or the color chart. I’m not saying that when someone’s doing a lipstick swatch on the hand is wrong (I did this when reviewing some lipsticks in the past) but apparently it appears to be more “accurate” when you observe the color from diff. people’s lips. You see, there are so many skin tones in the world and one lipstick color could be looking really good when worn by some particular skin tones but it’s gonna be looking “plain” or “weird” or even worse “ugly” on some other skin tones.

The best thing is to find people with the closest skin tone with yours and see how the color “pops” on their lips, with or without flash, outdoor or indoor.

This sounds pretty ribet but trust me, if you’re buying lipsticks online, you’re blind-buying them, right? So you have this “idea” inside your brain about the colur and because it’s looking so good as described and when it’s being swatched, you don’t think twice and you decide to buy.

When it’s finally arrived on your doorstep and you can’t wait to try it, you put it on and tadaaaaa…….. you’re disappointed.

So, to avoid that to ever happen (or it might have happened and don’t let it happen twice) PLEASE observe and PLEASE google as many reviews and pictures from the internet first, ok my lovelies?

So here we go, the reviews, starting from the most affordable to the priciest.

This is my second Colourpop lipstick type I’ve tried. I decided to buy two of these liquid lipstick (I have talked about Colourpop Lippie Stix once, please check my old post about it) which were in “TRAP” and “BUMBLE” shades.

So TRAP is basically a really PALE color and I decided to buy this out of my curiosity about having at least ONE super pale but “mysterious” lipstick color. I have done many researches before I made myself sure about choosing this and finally I decided to just buy it anyway, LoL.

If you never try, you’ll never know (Coldplay – Fix You), right?

First time I put this on my face and I was a little shocked at first because it looks EXACTLY like it’s been said and tested and reviewed. In a good way, I mean.

It is a really pale color with a hint of taupe? Brown? I don’t know.

This is absolutely a daring color and it needs someone with a lot of guts to pull it off and maybe I need that much guts anyway, LoL.

Next is BUMBLE which is a really nice and warm terracotta red.

It’s not Ferrari red, it’s not Ruby Woo’s red and it’s definitely not orange or coral.

It’s looking very nice when worn and I’m just in love with this Bumble color.

So about the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip lipsticks in general:

- Texture: liquid, first applied it’s wet and wait for several seconds to let it set and dry and you’re done.

- Opacity: very pigmented (off course because they’re supposed to be looking intense. Matte lipsticks usually are)

- Staying power: waterproof, eat-proof (makan roti atau makan yang enteng-enteng aja ya, kalau makan berat sih lipstick setahan apapun “proof” nya juga bakal pudar bagian tengahnya), kissproof (belum bisa bilang, hehehe). Tapi aman lah untuk dipakai seharian terutama pas “hari lupa bawa kotak makeup” sedang melanda. Dijamin ngga bakal bingung sampai sore *wink*

- Moisture level: aku harus bilang bahwa most matte lipsticks are DRYING dan Colourpop matte ini termasuk yang drying. Lalu kenapa aku masih tetap suka aja sama matte liquid lipsticks?

Karena jatuhnya bagus. Karena aku ngga pernah suka tampilan bibir glossy atau basah atau kelihatan beminyak gitu.

- Solution: selalu bawa lip balm. Ngerti kan kalau aku juga pecinta lipbalm? Betapa pentingnya benda kecil yang satu itu juga. So kalau bibir sudah mulai kering, apply aja lipbalm tipis-tipis aja ya, pake jari, ditepuk-tepuk gitu di bibir biar kesan matte-nya ngga hilang. Gigit-gigit bibir karena bibir kering? Nonononono…. Itu hanya akan membuat bibir makin kering karena our saliva contains some “crushing” agents yang berfungsi untuk membantu mencerna makanan. Jadi makanya jangan jilatin bibir kalau bibir kering.

Pakailah LIPBALM and love your lips.

- Price : affordable BANGET.

- Would I repurchase? off course, untuk shade BUMBLE ini lagi atau shade lain yang aku penasaran ingin coba hehehe

CAILYN PURE LUST EXTREME MATTE TINT

BEWARE ya, ini lipstick cair yang paling encer yang aku pernah coba. When I tried it for the first time aku sempat agak kaget karena teksturnya yang (jauh) lebih cair compared to other liquid lipsticks.

Then aku ingat-ingat lagi, ini adalah LIP TINT.

Ya jelas saja yah, encer. Hehehe…

So about the Cailyn Pure Lust Extreme Matte Tint lipstick in general:

-       Texture: watery but still creamy, it’s just not “that” creamy, almost like you’re not applying lipstick.

-       Opacity: good coverage, considering teksturnya yang encer but the color is pretty intense.

-       Staying power: idem Colourpop above.

-       Moisture level: almost non-drying (yay!!) and if it’s drying your lips, you know what to do, right?

-       Price: Considerably affordable.

-       Would I repurchase? Probably. It’s a good stuff and why not?

GIRLACTIK BEAUTY MATTE LIP PAINT

Should I say that this worth the HYPE and the PRICE? 

I don't have much to say except yes, I agree with the statement that this Girlactik has the best formulation. As a liquid lipstick, it's non-drying (although there's always a chance even 1% for your lips to get dry, remember that this is a MATTE lipstick anyway) and it smells very nice like a vanilla choco chip cookies (yummmm, my favourite!!).

     So about the Girlactik Beauty Matte Lip Paint lipstick in general:

        Texture: creamy, velvety, smells great!

-       Opacity: LOVELY!!

-       Staying power: All day! Ya kalau abs makan siang lalu it's a bit fading ya wajar sih ya, namanya juga lipstick. 

-       Moisture level: compared to Colourpop, Sleek Matte Me, this is the by far non-drying, Cailyn is the second. 

-       Price: If you're used to using YSL, Tom Ford, Dior, this is definitely considerably "cheap" but as for me this is pretty pricey! :'))

-       Would I repurchase? YES!!

    So I guess that's all I could review for the lipstick update. Sebenarnya ada beberapa lipsticks yang I haven't got the time to talk about, but no worries. I'm going to post again in the near future. 

     If you're wondering where these products are from, all lipsticks I'm talking about here are  MADE IN U.S.A so they're American products. 

   

  Some people might have their own preferences about cosmetic brands and their origins, maybe they prefer European or Asian products. It doesn't matter, as long as we'e comfortable wearing them, right?
