It feels like it was just yesterday I heard about it and now I've had five of its items.
Three of them I already talked about on my last post (Goats Don't Lie Avocola; Breakfast Porridge face mask and Baby Attack body lotion), please check out in case you're new to this blog anyway and two of them are new:
Be My Honey and Vanilla liquid soap and Vanilla Lip Taffy
So now the thing is: I decided to re-purchase the liquid soap BECAUSE somehow I'm IN LOVE with Goats Don't Lie (Avocola - which smells just like an avocado flavoured cola). I don't know what exact ingredients and HOW they created its formula but... man, my facial skin loves it like... A LOT and I think I'm gonna be using The Bath Box liquid soap for my face wash for a long, long time.
It really came out of nowhere (I mean, like, has anybody heard about "The Bath Box" before? And if you did hear about it, would you just buy and wash your FACE with the "unknown" thing with "unknown" ingredients??? ) and I usually pretty PICKY when it comes to choosing face washes. But with this one, I DID try wash my face with it after my all-time favourite cleansing oil from L'Occitane and the result? It's just non-greasy (ngga berminyak dan ngga licin juga ngga kering).
Keren kan?
Sempat ngga percaya sama hasilnya waktu pertama kali pakai then I gave it another try the next day in the morning and what it brought me? The same, clean, radiant feeling.
Keren beneran.
Well I don't normally compliment anything, like... really.
I only feel like if I must compliment ANYTHING, it must be because something REAL and GOOD.
With this liquid soaps from The Bath Box, both for GOATS DON'T LIE AVOCOLA and BE MY HONEY AND VANILLA liquid soaps, I'm in love. Once again, maybe other people wash their bodies with these soap but I think I'm pretty happy with just any body wash but finding a perfect facial wash that suits your skin is something that you can't do everyday.
Like myself, I've been to so many times of ups and downs, finding the perfect skincare for my face, because to be honest, I don't want to be "ketergantungan obat dokter" or whatever beauty clinics give me on the prescription. I'm not saying that those are bad thing to do, it's just my life choice. I'm just thinking about all the what-ifs, for instance:
- what if all of a sudden the doctor dies? (OMG really, did I ever think about it? LoL)
- what if all of a sudden the clinic stops operating while I'm on "perawatan"???
- what if something happen to me and I can no longer purchase the krim-krim and toner et cetera (naudzubillahi min dzalik jangan sampai ya Allah) ???
- and like 1000 more what ifs (trust me, those are just my crazy what ifs and please don't feel provoked or offended. :)
So the following pictures are the newcomers:
Be My Honey and Vanilla (sounds super sweet, LoL)
This smells just like what it's written on the label: like you've been out to the farm to collect some honey. Awww I can't get enough of sniffing it on my hands everytime I'm done washing my face. Sometimes I use it as hand wash (just to smell it afterwards).
What's the difference between this and Avocola?
Well the ingredients, off course.
The main ingredients of THIS liquid soap is wild honey (it's said it's using Borneo wild honey) while AVOCOLA's main ingredient is goat milk. It's just it smells like someone made you drink and drunk on avocado - cola beverage which I'm also crazy about.
Apparently and coincidentally they both pamper my skin too much and the thing that I'm happiest about is THE PRICE is VERY AFFORDABLE. Don't compare with local products or other commercial products which will make this brand looks expensive, but compare them to other drugstore or more premium products --> you'll get what I mean.
All right, I'm done complimenting the soaps and we're moving on to the next stuff:
This Vanilla Lip Taffy is actually a lip scrub.
It comes with a really tiny container (the same size of your lip balms, approximately) and it tastes sweet. Literally sweet, because it's made from sugar and I think they're using olive oil or something in the mixture?
I decided to buy this lip scrub because I realised my addiction to lipsticks and I'm not using just one lipstick brand but MANY, so I realised how I've been so cruel to my lips :( :(
So when you, yes you, decide to buy this, use this in line with your skin-cleansing regimens. I use this after I'm done with cleansing oil (since this lip scrub is also oily). Apply just a LITTLE pinch of this and scrub your lips GENTLY (remember that your lips skin is very delicate) with circular motion for about 1 minute. You can taste the sweetness of its sugar (yum!!) but remember that it's not supposed to be swallowed, LoL. It could contain other chemicals we have no idea about, right?
I'm not saying that this product is juara or whatever but having a little twist on your skincare regimens could be fun, right? If you're accustomed to scrubbing your lips with your fave products then it's fine. I just like the cuteness of its packaging; the lovely scent of its scrub and how my lips feels like after being scrubbed.
So smooth and so kissable, oops ;p
Next time around I think I'm still gonna be purchasing other items from The Bath Box because definitely they produce good stuff seriously. Like, SERIOUSLY good.
Keep supporting local products as well!! :)
